We strive to see all children with dental trauma, infection or severe dental pain as soon as possible. However, if your child has suffered significant dental trauma or has a swollen face, or temperature, due to a dental infection after hours please contact the Emergency Department either at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne or the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
All dental trauma should be assessed by a dentist. Our Specialist Paediatric Dentists have extensive experience in trauma management of primary and permanent teeth allowing us to provide both emergency and long term follow up for your child.
